Unstoppable!!!!! #vday #bumblebeetights4TW

Hello lovers, just another slay week in the mission. Seriously time is flying, we're on our last week of the transfer, and I'm UNWELL about it. I would actually pay money to have things stay the way they are for another transfer.

- Luis was literally roasting other kids about being baptized before the age of 8 and how it doesn't count cause they didn't have sins and they need to be re-baptized in our church like okay preach king let's get you a plack!

- felt a bump in my shirt, reached in, and just pulled out a giant bug.

- I feel like my life rn is the teddy bear meme where a girl is holding a teddy bear and doesn't want to give it up to Christ who's holding a bigger one behind his back but she can't tell. Like every transfer just gets better and better and I always think I have it good and then bam it just gets better and I don't understand how.

- Aaron said he wants to be like us when he's older and serve a mission he's been helping us all week to find and teach his friends so they can get baptized too. Let's also get him a plack.

We baptized Diego on Sunday!!!!!! Diego is the nephew of a member of the rama (branch) and he's been to church a few

times but that's kinda it, no lessons or interest. Well, we had dinner with his fam for the Superbowl the other Sunday and during that, we worked our magic and got him to agree to meet with us this week. The lessons went great and at one point Marquez looked at me to give the fecha for 2 Sundays like we always do but instead, I said this Sunday cause I knew he had the asistencias and faith and he accepted!!!!!! His aunt literally goes, "Wait what? What did she say" as if she couldn't understand my Spanish, so I repeated what I said and she was like "And he said yes?" It was so funny. Anyway, this was on Thursday so he was baptized 3 days later!!!! It was all super sweet and not tryna take credit or anything but like...... ur welcome.

Okay, my actual biggest fear of coming to the mission came true on Saturday but it turned out to be nothing to fear HAHAA. Soooooo basically we ran into our drug dealer friends on Friday and they wanted to chat, but we were running late for a cita and didn't have time so we scheduled a cita with them for Saturday. We followed through and when we got there he was like "Yes let's talk". I asked what the other guys were looking for on the roof and he said "Soldiers" I said "I wanna see" and he said okay and led us up to the top of the hill/house.

They let me look through the binoculars and spotted out the soldier trucks for me. They had a whole crew and walkie-talkies. Hna Marquez was just laughing like oh boy what did you get us into. But guys it ended up being so funny like what just happened to me. We spent almost two hours hanging out with one of the biggest drug lords of the cartel. Guys, I'm not even kidding, homie makes almost 4 million dollars a year. He bought us pizza and a coke and spilled his whole life story while we just

sat at the top of the hill and his workers watched for police and were running back and forth selling the drugs. He would literally pause mid-story for a second, sort the drugs/money, and then continue. Like is this something I need to report?!?!? Promise I don't support this, we literally were teaching him the 10 commandments and inviting all of them to church tomorrow with us. HAHAHA. I actually just feel so safe with them though and was joking later that night that they our like our bodyguards and if anything were to happen to us we could just call them up and he would totally come save us. He did say he wanted to rob me though but it was in a friendly way... I think.

Life's good, the work is progressing! And don't worry Grandpa, we'll be smarter about our cartel friends, promise!

Lots of love, Hermana Steuer
