Okay, swear I just emailed you guys, time isn't real here on the mish. But this will be a quick email just gonna give you guys some bullet points of my week. Next email I'll share all our cute Christmas service.
- Pueblitos Ward Christmas party, success and fail
- bought food for our soriana vagabundo amigo pero he disappeared before I could give it to him. Not sure where considering he is homeless but God is good and led us to a different family who needed the food more
- 11 pm gun fight every night this week?? I think closing the curtains will help! Almost peed my pants laughing. It's better than crying tho.
- bought as many small gifts for kids in the street as I could and have never felt happier with shopping bags in my hands. Not a single thing was for myself but yet I felt like I was the one receiving presents I was so excited. I love how God works like that. We find joy IN ourselves when we look OUTside of ourselves. Christmas is gonna be good this year
- catolico baptism birthday party?? Estoy confudido tambien pero Mexicans really know how to party
- How did we end up at the fair again? Thanks to Melissa! I'll never get over how much I love Melissa's family and I just keep meeting more of them it's awesome. Taught all 3 lessons in one sitting #baddie #missionaryslay #graciasdios
- Flirting to converting our way with Enrique but it's so worth it because he's getting baptized this Saturday. Gunna come straight from signing his last jail sentence release forms to the font
- Got called on to say the closing prayer in sacrament meeting. Why was I not given a warning for that??? Whatever it honestly slayed and I was proud after (Enrique said he didn't understand a word I said, yup that's just awesome!)
Okay, that's my quick rundown of the week. It was another slay. Hna Melendez and I are starting to fight like sisters, and I can't decide if I love it or hate it. We're still just besties, though. Also, I just thought you guys should know I'm writing this with a face mask on. I love my life.
Have an amazing Christmas and watch the Christ child. Remember what Christmas really means this year and if you can, find someone who needs a gift. Even just the gift of knowing they have a father in heaven who loves them.
